i almost secured my first paid wedding photography gig. su's brother is about to get married somewhere in december and wondered if im interested to become his wedding photographer. since he liked the shots i took for cary & su at their reception in semenyih.
i was all excited and honoured and kembang and shit, and was about to call my brother to ask if i could borrow his olympus. and then my kembangness got deflated the moment su told me the event's gonna be held indoors at night. i suck at indoor night shots. i dont have the gears or any extra lighting equipment. the least that i need is probably a flash gun .. which costs almost RM1k. and i dont have the technical knowledge ... like adjusting the apertures and shutter speeds and ISOs and all that.
so i had to decline. im not about to ruin somebody's memory of a lifetime by my ignorance and suckiness.
hmmm.
maybe one day.
