i went back to the place where i purchased my ipod just now to make them fix my broken baby. i had to explain to 3 technical assistants, separately. the first one looked at my ipod as if it was his first time looking at a vagina - not really sure if he’s supposed to touch it or eat it, so the second dude took over and made me explain again what the problem was … but he seemed to not understand english that much so he passed me to the other guy like as if i’m some kind of cheap whore. i felt cheap. and then this other dude tried to help out, only after i explained again what happened to my ipod.
and the diagnosis: (or at least the gist of it as told in slurry but exaggerated incomprehensible engrish)
“… sorry, but your ipod? it was just its time…”
my ipod’s not broken …
it died!
something wrong with the hard drive, apparently. bad clusters. unfixable. gone. fuck it. i don’t understand all these technology mambo jambo juju mojo. might as well just tell me that there was a blood clot in one of the heart arteries and it traveled up the brain and resulted in aneurism*. or something.
first my camera. now my ipod. i must have done something really wrong to deserve this.
* i don't just watch grey's anatomy because of mc'dreamy and mc'steamy and all the doctor mc'hots. i learn.
