finally, after 2 weeks of constant full-house disappointments, we managed to catch ghost rider. no, actually i managed. ayis saw it the day it opened. but was it worth the wait? honestly, i was kinda disappointed. i mean the special effects and the cast are cool, but the storyline was a bit too flat, too predictable. good trumps over evil, balance is restored. now can i have my vanilla sundae? i was expecting something like constantine ... but what i got was cicak man. no, wait, cicak man was a lot better actually, plot wise.
oh, and naturally, there won't be a movie review without some complaints about the movie goers, kan? people, please, unless you're watching nemo's playing hide and seek again or something, DO NOT BRING YOUR 3 YEAR OLDS TO THE CINEMA! they don't understand what's going on anyway. yes, the movie may be labeled "U" but people under 1 meter tall can't be counted as human. if you still want to bring your kids to watch people killing people in the most psychotic, inhumanely manner, feed them 10 spoonfuls of cough syrup before you purchase the tickets, or else bring a nozzle and a leash.
