8 more weeks to go

i don't even bother to take anymore pictures for my belly gallery. because i look the way i feel. like shit. but let me assure you, it's BIG. bigger than some full term belly. so big that some may even think i'm carrying twins. so big that i look like i might burst anytime. i hope my baby wont grow too big that it'd require a c-sec to get her out of me. help me please, ya Allah.

so far alhamdulillah, i haven't got any stretch marks on my belly yet. although my belly button can't decide whether to stay an innie or become an outie. so what i have is a 'beak'. a 'beak' that's attached to a really round belly. ayis says my belly looks like a puffed-up puffer fish. but my boobs, on the other hand .. scares me. they're HUGE with green veins all over, that runs all the way up to my shoulders. they're so heavy that they're actually resting on my equally huge belly. boobs on belly. belly resting on my big fat thunder thighs. well, you get the ugly picture.

i think my baby is in this exact position. with her head down pushing constantly on my bladder, her butt just right on my belly button that sometimes will stick out randomly and make me look like i've got a lopsided tummy. and her legs exactly wedged under my right ribcage where she'll remind me time and again of her existence with a painful and powerful jab. my ribs are getting so sore.

so we've decided we're gonna deliver her at this clinic in melawati. close to home, and close to the office, should an emergency arise. figuring out the logistics of probably having to drive into KL should the urgency of her birth happens between people coming off work and buka puasa gives me cold-sweat nightmares. so we opted for somewhere closer to home. at least, if i forget something then, like my iPod, or the big-ass bone-shaped pillow which has seen better days that i can't sleep without, home is only 2 minutes away. aren't i the smart one? thank you. thank you.

8 more weeks. and there are still more baby stuff to get. since i'm staying with my mom, so we don't have an extra room for her nursery. baby's gonna be staying in our room till we decide to move out. which could mean 2-5 years from now. or if it's up to my mom, never.

mom got us a RM600 dresser to go with our bedroom set for us to put all the baby's stuff in. all her sleeping stuff are almost ready, except my mom plans to sew all the beddings herself. we've been going around town looking for tastefully designed beddings, but can't find anything that suits our taste, except for the ones in ikea, which is kinda expensive. with my mom's taste and talent, hopefully my baby sleeps on a chic bed that looks something like this :
