Aryanna - after Nash's daughter, Arianna. (thanks and sorry, buddy). no, actually initially we were hoping for a boy and we wanted to name him Aryan Haris Johanabas
Arwen - yes, after that pretty elven princess in Lord of the Rings
Johanabas - after mine. im starting a legacy here. she's the first second generation of Johanabas

How to pronounce Arwen:
depends. sometimes i call her Ar-when. sometimes i call her Ar-wern. either way is acceptable. just don't call her Ar-ween

Meaning behind the name :
Aryanna, in greek means 'the holy one'. Arwen in welsh means 'fair maiden'. so together, it means holy maiden? perempuan suci lah dalam bahasa melayunya. as long as it has a good meaning to it kan?

For those who questions the name i chose for my daughter ... like, why arwen? why not an arabic name? why put the johanabas? why is my husband's name not included in the equation? :
screw you. i carried her for 8 1/2 months and went through labour without epidural and pushed her out my weewaw suffering some tear that is still not healed even after the 7th day. i think i deserve and reserve the right to name her how ever i like. i can name her bionic woman or cheetara and you still have no say. so thank you for not smoking.
