milestone moment

first thing's first, arwen knows her name! yay!

secondly ... apparently, yesterday my mom told me that arwen has learned how to salam. we all thought, could it be? really? maybe she was just reaching her arm out because she thinks you're going to pick her up extending your hands out like that. really ma? salam?

but mom said "no, seriously, dia salam. i was soooo proud of her!"

since she's already sleeping when we got home last night, we couldnt try it out. so this morning, at about 8, before i got ready for work, i tested it out.

and guess what! she did salam! a few times actually! yes, i too was so proud of her. and then she salam her papangah falie pulak. and he too was proud of her.

here's a not so good video of her 'salam' my mom. i know it's shitty, and doesnt really look like a viable salam. it's because she's aware that we're taping her so tetiba she's like self-concious plak. i'll try to get a better one next time, including her cackles and guffaws.
