i don't blame her if she turns out vain

and i dont even blame her for being obsessed with Elmo coz we were the ones who introduced it to her. just as we have introduced the camera from the moment she was born. she's already taken some photographs herself using my dslr. and she knows she gets to see "A-wei" in the cameras. and lately, as in a couple of days lately, she's started to become so self-aware and self-conscious and what's a simpler word for it? yeah, VAIN, that she'd fake a 'smile' and 'pose' immediately as she sees a camera pointing at her. cute? NO. i hate it! why? because now, all her photos will look like these. and i'm left with not much choice of photos for her monthly letters. why do we do this to our kids? it's all our fault. seriously.
