in view of two

my little girl will be turning two tuesday next week. excited? well yeah, but not going crazy preparing for a party just yet. since it's in the middle of puasa and all. but yeah, i'm currently putting together her second year slideshow which will run longer than her first year slideshow, that i can assure you. although her first year slideshow actually took 2 months to finish, only because i was a noob at using iPhoto. now that i've gotten the hang of things, it doesnt really take that long to do. just collecting and selecting the photos that takes up a long time because i have gajillion of them to sort out from.

we'll be celebrating Arwen's 2nd birthday by treating her to watch Elmo in person on Saturday, 4th September. Bought the tickets and all. We'll be watching the 1pm show. so in case anybody else is going, and if you see a fat lady tearing her hair out to a little girl who's screaming wanting to dance with Elmo on stage, yeah, come say hi to me (if you dare, heh).

and with my mom's recommendation, we're also planning to throw a little party for Arwen during Raya. more like mom's throwing an open house and we'll squeeze in a party for her. not a big one, just amongst family, friends and neighbours. im not so big on birthday parties, but arwen sorts of wants it. she keeps on arranging her bowls and plates and cups into tiers and sing "Happy Yu-yu Arwen, Happy Yu-yu Arwen.." (her version of Happy Birthday to you) and then she'll be blowing a pretend candle and asking me "Arwen nak eat cake, boleh?" and when i ask her " What kind of cake?", she'll reply "Cake Odang" .. seriously, i don't know anybody who'll eat shrimp cake.

so yeah, i guess i'll be a busy mom for weeks to come.

and i'm also in a midst of making a huge decision and change. but right now, just waiting for something.
